My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: California
On Thursday I was driving down this street and this van was coming out reversed from a parking lot into the street but instead of him coming out slowly he came out fast without even bothering to look for incoming traffic so the driver in front of me braked extremely hard and since I was behind her I braked too but it was pretty much too late and so I hit her from the back. The thing is I did not have insurance because my dad had burly bought me my car and the only thing I had was the title of the car. The police arrived and we made a report and there was witnesses there and saw the man come out fast from the parking lot and him being the reason I crashed into the lady in front of me. The police even wrote in the report that the man was at fault. I immediately called the mans insurance which was State Farm and made the claim. What do you think can happen? At the scene I was feeling ok but as soon as I got home I started feeling a lot of back pain and till right now my back is hurting. I do have my drivers license so I was good on that. I am 19 btw. This happened where I live which is Los Angeles.
