Volvo 4400

I have recently purchased a BM4400 circa 1985 loader and I am having a few issues with the transmission when things warm up (20 mins of work). The transmission is reluctant to engage and when it does it is usually with a hard thud. When it does grab a gear it seems to have plenty of power, with minimal slip (will just spin the wheels). I have just replaced the trans and drop box oil and cleaned the suction filter. New oil I have put in is straight 30w about 22 litres and about 3 litres of...

D6N FC 036-0168.04

Arrangement 246-8488
SN- DJY00552
Comes on when releasing the park brake-operates normally
Was reported unit will derate (idle down no power), restart and all is fine, not sure if its related. I've advised the operator to check for other codes next time it happens
Any input on this would be appreciated
Thx

D3B Clutch and cylinder rebuild

Decided to get into removing the clutches, and while I'm at it need to have the lift cylinders rebuilt.

Drained the hydraulics, then removed the seat, battery and down to the hydraulics and linkage. The good think is most things are 9/16 of 3/4, the bad, is some of the 9/16 bolts have very little room and can only use the short wrench. Did manage to lock 2 wrenches together to get me some more leverage

Takeuchi tb025

Just purchased my first excavator. 1999 tak tb025. Got a good deal on it with certain issues so i couldnt pass it up. The pilot control valves are leaking and i was going to replace the entire assembly on both sides but i cannot seem to find the parts. Does anyone else have problem finding parts for the older takeuchi excavators? Ive talked to a local shop with no luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction it will be much appreciated.

daewoo 220-lc 3 Instrument panel

I just purchased a 1999 daewoo 220Lc-3 and the instrument panel is very very hard to read. The thing ran good and didnt seem to overheat, i could faintly see the gauges.

I have two questions, this is my first excavator and I do not know what each button means or what it does. Is there any where i can find this information so i can run the machine properly?
I have found some manuals online for $100-300, just not sure if that info is in there and i dont want to waste that money and it not be...

Bent line on boom cylinder

Had my kids feeding a fire with my tb135 and just noticed this casualty. View attachment 214547 Not sure how best to try and straighten this out. It's moved almost 90 degrees right at the welded lower perch. I don't think I should try to bend it without putting a torch to it. Drain and heat? Just heat full, maybe heat and raise/lower boom?
Seems lately I have lots of time on my hands so if I bust it off and have to weld on a new line Its not the end of the world. Thanks for any input.
