Establishing an Order: Change of Venue from 8 Years Ago

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California

An "Agreed Order Changing Venue" was filed correctly shortly after divorce in the original state. It allowed for the venue to change to the new state. Both parents had moved to the new state. However the order was never shown/registered in the new state. All this time the child support order has been treated as a foreign order with the old state.

Can this order still be registered/filed with the new state? Does it expire? Is it still legal? In the time since the order was done - the non-custodial parent moved back to the original state.

Thank you
