Traffic Accidents: Can My Insurance Side Use This Against the Other Party Who is Trying to Pin Liability

I had an accident recently and I filed my claim with my insurance. I was t boned almost to the rear wheel. There were no witnesses at the scene of accident even after the cops arrived after 10 minutes after the incident. The other party left after sharing info. The cops can also attest that there were no witnesses at the scene when they arrived as they escorted my car back to my house which was one street away. And I was observing the entire time nobody approached me or the lady as we parked our cars on the opposite side of the road after impact and exchanged insurance information. I have 3 family members who were with me in the car who also can vouch that nobody approached us or the other driver. There was no police report filed. We both have same insurance. I see the other person has mentioned witnesses now on the claim. I looked on facebook and was able to find both people are friends of the other driver involved in the accident. If they were witnesses, why were they not there at the scene of the accident especially if it was their friend and they never came to talk to her after the accident? I have lots of social media screenshots to show they are friends. Is this enough information to prove that they are cooking up witness stories and for the insurance company to reject their claim or dismiss these witnesses as they are biased? i had 3 family members who would also testify that there was no witnesses in that case. If the insurance company is going to take them as witnesses why cant they take my family as witness? Arent these witnesses biased?
