Sales Agreements: Dealership Wants to Revise a Vehicle Lease Contract

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Illinois

Me & my wife leased a new Honda minivan 2 weeks ago together traded-off our old Subaru SUV ($7000). We put down $2000 down payment from the traded vehicle & awaiting for the $5000 check. The dealership said that that they would release the check if we handover the car title which we don't have possession at that time. We agreed to come back later after the Memorial week is done. So everything was signed & we took home the newly leased vehicle.

We received a voicemail from the dealership stating that they have revised the contract because they adjusted the City of Chicago tax (from $1,459 to $1,531) The dealership particularly the GM (General manager) wanted us back there for us to sign the new contract.

My concern is, all paper works we're signed & done. We even discussed before signing the lease contract the address we were staying & the sales tax that should be calculated (9.5%). My feeling is that the dealership is holding us "hostage" because they said that they would not release the $5,000 check to us if we did not sign the new contract

I need your help & advice before we show up to that dealership.

Hoping for your responses.
