My question involves a child custody case from the State of: CA
My son and I have lived in my homestate of NY since he was 8 months old and he is now 5. I filed for modification of child support in which made his absent father (who lives in CA) angry and he now is filing a custody modification for visits in CA. Our current order states father is supposed to make his visits to NY and cover all expenses. He has only visited once in 5 years. He also never calls to talk to our son just occasionally ask about him. Is it very realistic that I will be ordered to send my 5 year old to CA to stay with a person that is essentially a stranger to him?
