My question involves a child custody case from the State of: ohio
my daughter is almost 7. has lived with me since birth. father lives in another state. He was behind on child support and had a bench warrant until he recently turned himself in and payed up on child support from his tax return. He recently sent me papers from his lawyer saying he wants visitation and wants to be a super dad now. has been out of the picture for a few years. My daughter wants nothing to do with him as she remembers him being physically and mentally abusive to me. Do I have to follow thru with his visitation requests? or Since i am a single mother will this be favored more on my behalf?
