My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
I was driving south on a 2 lane freeway, which turned into a 55mph zone, and an officer pulled me over doing 86mph. He wrote me a ticket and said I had to come to court in Stockton, there was no way I could attend traffic school, and I was likely to have my license taken away.
This is my first speeding ticket, so I have a few questions. First of all, am I not able to pay a bail without showing up to the court? Stockton is a three hour drive from where I live. Also, the officer wrote the code 22349, which as far as I'm aware isn't considered reckless driving, which is vc 23103. Is this correct? How should I proceed? I'm not trying to fight the ticket, as I know I was in the wrong for driving so fast.
Thanks in advance!
