Modification of Support: Two Questions About Support Modification

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: FL

I have two general questions, please.

1. If there is a case with the Dept of Revenue for child support modification and one is unpleased with the outcome, is it still possible to obtain private counsel and take it back to the court? Or once a decision is made is that final?

2. If one party needs tax information of the other, and they are self employed, do they have to produce the 1040 as well as Schedule C? If they are required by law to produce Schedule C, is it common practice for them to be required to fill out an authorization form (IRS 8812, I believe) to get direct authorization from the IRS that what they put on schedule C is the same that was reported to the IRS? Or do they normally just produce their own copy of Schedule C and that is normally good enough?

Thank you.
