Suspension and Revocation: What Happens if You Ignore a License Suspension

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Pennsylvania

My daughter received 2 speeding tickets as a junior license holder. She accumulated 7 or 8 points, and as such, has had her license suspended. She just turned 18 two weeks ago and is now away at college. I received the correspondence from PennDOT...she has 30 days to take & pass a written exam and then surrender her license for her 90-day suspension.

Problem is, she's 18. She's embarrassed or maybe just scared...I don't know for sure, because she's not returning my calls or texts.

My question is, what happens if she doesn't take her exam & surrender her license in time? I'd like to practice a bit of tough love here, and let her handle this on her own; but at the same time, she is 18, still a dumb kid, and in college to get an education degree...I don't want her future career jeopardized before it's even had a chance to begin, by an arrest for something so stupid as ignoring the requirements of a license suspension.

Help?
