I have a driver's license in the state of Florida and I changed my address when I moved but I lost my license and then without realizing it I found my old license with my old address on it. I was just pulled over for having a brake light out and he gave me a ticket for not changing my address. How should I go about proving that I in fact did change my address. Should I try to get records from the dmv showing when I changed my address, will they be able to do that for me? Do I have to go to court to clear this up?
