Speeding Tickets: Speeding Defense: 37 in an (Unposted) 25 Zone

Idaho state: a local officer cited me in violation of I49-654(2), 37 MPH observed in 25 MPH zone.

Couple facts:
1. I was accelerating onto a highway on ramp (posted 45mph sign ~50yds ahead of my car, have photos) when my speed was measured.
2. Time was 1:35am, traffic was non-existent.
3. Road surface dry and clean, no road safety concerns
4. Officer was parked (illegally?) on wrong side of road when he got me, no lights on.

(officer's dashcam video is evidence of the above points)

Other points:
5. I can attach a map & have photos, but the closest speed limit sign is roughly a half-mile behind and 2 turns/intersections/streets previous - the highway follows a meandering route through downtown.
6. The default speed limit would be 35 MPH.
7. I have *never* had an accident (15 years / 450k+ miles driven)

I was all hung-ho and full of self-righteous indignation when I requested the hearing (tomorrow morning @9), but now I just feel nervous and silly :P

It's a small town court - do I have anything here to go on?
