Quick question, my daughter just failed the BCA portion of her PFA for the Navy. This is her 3rd so will be subject to discharge. She is able to pass the PRT portion. My issue is that according to regulations she was supposed to be enrolled in FEP and given time to exercise, sent to a nutritional counseling at a minimum of 3 times, weekly weigh-ins etc..basically she was supposed to have been given support to reach her goals. This has never happened even though she complained to her chain of command multiple times that she wasn't getting the help she needed and was basically told that she would need to go work out during sleep hours. Don't they have to prove what they did also to be able to process her out? And yes, we know she is ultimately responsible for the weight gain and weight loss, but her command hasnt done what they said they would either...any help would be appreciated as we want to know if this is worth fighting. She has less than 6 years so doesn't even get a board hearing. What do t hey have to turn in to start the discharge, because from what I have read they have to show what they have done to help her etc.
