Abandoned Property: Towed Vehicle in Tennessee

My question involves personal property located in the State of: Tennessee

My car was recently towed from an Autozone parking lot with NO visible towing signs. The tow truck driver towed the vehicle to private property with no security measures. The fence around the property had no lock. There was no surveillance on the property. They are charging me way over the standard legal storage fees (according to a Memphis Police Officer). The vehicle was broken into while on Autozone property with significant internal damage and though (according to the tow truck driver that towed the vehicle) the driver was aware of the damage it was NOT recorded on the tow invoice. I was not notified that the vehicle was towed even though the manager at the store told me that I could leave the vehicle on the lot while waiting for parts to arrive. The vehicle was towed less than 3 days after I was told it was ok to leave the car on the lot as it was inoperable. Do I have a case for complaint against the tow company?
