Hello, I am 16 years old and live in Texas.
This summer I would like to move to California with a friend who is 18.
However, what would I need to do regarding enrolling in school there?
How will guardianship be transferred from my parents to the friend if it is in two different states?
He will be visiting Texas for about a month or so during summer, and then I will get parental consent from my parents.
