My question involves a marriage in the state of: Illinois
My ex and I are Indians and we got married in India and moved to Illinois from where we obtained our divorce after few years. I returned to India after the divorce order came which asked me to pay huge alimonies. My ex obtained an order of civil contempt and incarceration against me after I left in the year 2012 and my ex continued staying in USA. I would like to now go to USA on a short visit on visitor visa to a different state. What is the chance that I may be taken in custody? Would you advise against my vist to USA any time in future?
