My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: CA
I stopped at a stop sign and proceeded further to check upcoming traffic at T-intersection. I was about to make a right turn. A 67 years old driver was driving toward me and failed to brake his car, and slammed into me on my front bumper. Police came but didnt take report, only exchanged information. My question is, am i at fault just because i have a stop sign on my side but the other car didnt ? I yielded him and stopped completely near the curb line, i didnt pull out to the main road at all.
