My question involves restraining orders in the State of: CA
Okay so this is weird! I just received a letter from civilcourtnotice.com indicating that a TRO/Domestic Violence lawsuit has been filed against me. Here's the weird part, I have never been married, don't have any kids, I currently have a girlfriend who lives with me, we have no problems whatsoever. We've been happily together for 10+ years, I don't recall ever getting into any verbal nor physical dispute or altercation with anyone since high school (I graduated back in '99). What gives? Could this be a mistake? Could this be a scam? I called the number provided but went straight to voicemail, probably because today is a Saturday and they're probably closed. Thanks in advance!
