Federal Taxes: Offer in Compromise

We filed an application for an Offer in Compromise (Form 656) on behalf of a client and we have not heard back yet. After we filed the application, the client received a change to the client's 2014 tax return. The client cannot pay this proposed amount. One of the requirements of an Offer in Compromise is that the taxpayer stay in strict compliance with future IRS payments. Any suggestions on how we should proceed (amend the compromise, supplement the compromise, etc.)? Thanks in advance!
