My question involves a marriage in the state of California, but my (ex) wife filed a divorce in TN after 8 years of marriage.
(We have a 13 year old daughter)
I left the country (U.S.) in December 2007 (I havent come back), while I was married to her. Then, 2 years later she told me that she moved in to TN.
And she got divorce from me. And she told me she did it "by default"....But the thing is...she never told me she was gonna divorce me.
I was never informed about that. I've never got a letter or a summons informing me about such thing.
My question is: Can she do that?.... can she just file for divorce without telling me? and get divorce just like that?
