My question involves criminal law for the state of: Louisiana my fiance is supposed to be released on parole December 28th 2015 it has recently been discovered when he filed his paperwork to be paroled out.it came Stating Detainer . So I did some digging. And it turns out they say that they have a probation hold on him dating back to 2003 from a dw charge but he has been incarcerated since 2008 on a entire charge so I found out who the PO was and called him up. Asking how is this possible when he has been locked down for the past 8-9years and you didn't have any knowledge of that . The PO didn't even have knowledge if ever completed or didn't complete his probation. He basically kept giving the run around.I guess my question is can they do this it's been almost 13years. How can they persue this?
