My question involves a child custody case from the State of: MINNESOTA
My grandchildren's mother has proven to be a very unstable woman. She has lost custody of her first son, due to her unstable living situations, and she continues to move from place to place to place now with my two grandchildren. She has off and on lived her in my home with my son, but just today, I has to ask her to leave. She did, and left the children here. The police were contacted, and with her outside, they made the decision to leave the children with us. (They said until Monday, after Christmas). My son and I both know that we need to IMMEDIATELY get a lawyer, but neither of us have the money to do so. What steps do we take right now? These children do not need the instability, both living wise, or the emotional instability she surrounds them with. Please lead us in the direction we should go. Thank you.
