My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: I sold my 06 ninja to a buyer a year ago and he paid cash and only got the title. After talking to him recently he claims he painted it a different color and sold the bike after he changed the title to his name. Coincidentally I got a registration renewal in my name today s we( which is why I contacted him in the first place...) I called the DMV and according to them it's still in my name. Can I reposess it as he has modified the vehicle and never registered it into his name or changed the title?
