My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: texas. Paid my share of rent in full. I moved out before my month was up. Was trying to help a friend for the next month, but was unable to due to hard times. Even though I said I would try and pay, landlord (homeowner with room for rent) is trying to force me to pay for the next month even though I didn't live there. I had moved out already.
