Hi, We recently purchased a new property and got a home inspection done. One of the concerns raised during the inspection was that the the shower pan in the restroom was not draining the water completely after the shower had been turned off and left a small puddle of standing water. The puddle is about 8 inches in diameter. Would any of you know if a builder is required to rectify such an issue - i.e., are there any laws / code regarding whether standing water (which may give rise to mold) should be corrected by a builder. Thanks.
