Ticket Errors: Littering Traffic Ticket Errors No Violation Code

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: south Carolina today 8/1/2016 I was given a traffic ticket for littering at 9:52 am even though I pick up the litter before officer stopped and on the ticket there is no violation code to look up, in the violation code area of ticket is ( 00-00-0000/0000 ). I called the city and was told that it is a $510 fine but was not ask for the violation code can I get out of this ticket since there is no violation code on ticket?
