I have no attorney in this case: how to respond petitioner motion to set aside dismissal of protective order. my wife filed a protective order against me with false allegations. She is represented by Legal Aid society. I requested a hearing to dismiss the protective order. At that hearing the judge dismissed the protective order in presence of my wife legal representative but my wife was not present at that hearing. Today I just got served with a motion to set aside dismissal of that protective order. reasons: petitioner was not served with respondent's motion to dismiss.
I provided my wife shelter address to the clerk and her attorney address while filing my motion to dismiss. And I was told by the clerk that police officer would serve her.
