I have tried contacting my ex multiple times saying I would willingly drive to them to pick up my things, but they refuse. I have actively tried to reclaim my property, but my ex says my things now belong to their new partner. How can I go get my things without having to go to court. I will go if I absolutely have to, but would rather things not get ugly. But I need my belongings as soon as possible so I can use them for my job. Without them, I can't do half of the work I'm supposed to be getting.
