My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Vermont
I planned a trip with a (now ex) girlfriend and prepaid for everything.
When I made the arrangements she promised me she wanted to go and wouldn't back out.
She recently broke up with me (for really stupid reasons... I am better off without her) and I
am stuck with over $1000 worth of travel including hotel room and event tickets that I cannot
get refunds on and cannot sell.
I am disabled and cannot go by myself, nor do I want to. The trip is at the
end of August so I don't have much time to find someone else to go with.
Can I sue her in small claims court for what I paid for the trip?
Thanks!
