Unlawful Presence and Overstay USCIS Revoked Work Permit (Dallas)

Hello All,

I was recently picked up by ICE people, saying that my H1B VISA has been revoked. I got out on a bond yesterday afternoon, after spending four days in detention center. I had a DUI last year August 2016. So after all the legal processes for that, I had started probation in March of this year. I got 12 months probation and 24 hours of community service. Last week I was picked up by ICE folks (11 months later), saying i would have to be deported as I was an illegal immigrant. When i asked them about being notified, they said we have sent it to in your mail, which in all honesty, I never received. Even my company was not notified about my change of status otherwise i would have certainly been notified by my company. Now i am waiting for my court date. I was looking for advice, on how to prepare and defend my case. If possible, what are my chances of not being deported, if you can make a guesses! It was a little insulting when the ICE officer said, "since you have a DUI, you are threat to society".

I have hired a lawyer. But I was trying to do some research on my own as well. I have my first appointment on the weekend.
