My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: Texas
My sister's will was in probate and the court has ruled in my favor i.e. the will is authentic and I am to be the executor of her estate. However while her daughter was the adminstrator a loan had been taken out by her daughter which is currently outstanding.
Now that the court has ruled as me the administrator, according to the Will her daughter's portion to the estate is significantly smaller. I would like to have her repay the loan so that we can sell the property at fair market value and divide the estate as per her mother's wishes. (the daughter was reluctant to to do so which is why the Will was in probate in the first place; she had called the authenticity of will into question)
