My question involves criminal law for the state of: Newyork
I am 20 years old. I got caught shop lifting last month at Walmart. I had a court date 2 days ago, they gave me a 10 hours community service and if I do that in two weeks my case will be dismissed on August 3rd. My lawyer told me he would apply to destroy my finger prints but I am worried if the case is gonna stop me from getting a job in the future. I am a computer science student and about to graduate in an year. I have heard that even thought the case is dismissed some data bases have the information about the dismissed case. How to clean my record everywhere including that databases? what kind of sites should I concerned about?
