My question involves court procedures for the state of: NC
Could someone put this in layman's terms?
7A-226. Priority of judgment when appeal taken.
When appeal is taken from a judgment in a small claim action, the lien acquired by docketing merges into any judgment rendered after trial de novo on appeal,
continues as a lien from the first docketing, and has priority over any judgment docketed subsequent to the first docketing.
