My question involves business law in the state of: California

I am starting my own apparel company and recently purchased a logo from a Designer in the United Kingdom. I had him send over a transfer of ownership but on the contract it doesnt have his name it has his studio name which i think he is just the sole member. He transferred the rights of the logo to my LLC. I want to make sure sure legally that this make me owner of the design or does he have to use his name in the transfer. Also can an LLC have the rights to a logo if it is single member which would be me? Or do I have to have his real name send to my real name. I want this design to be protected under my LLC so if there was any legal issues it would go through my LLC structure and not me personally. Hope that makes sense.
