My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Texas
I am fighting a traffic ticket and have 30 days to request information for discovery. Previously, the prosecutor agreed to set up a time this week to examine the LIDAR. Today is the 31st day and at 450pm (10 minutes before the closing of the court offices) she sent me an email retracting that, stating she has changed her mind, refusing to allow me to set up the meeting and it now needs to be formally submitted in writing and will only proceed with an order from the Judge. CLEARLY, this is going to take more than 1 day and forces me to fall outside of my 30 day window. I have already requested and had one continuance because of another stunt she pulled with the "wording" of my last request to my discovery causing me to resubmit it and wait for her to approve it. What can I do at this point to A) get the court order and/or B) combat her tactics?
