My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: NJ
So essentially I received a ticket where I just pulled out of a meter parking and less than 1/4 a mile down the road a police officer stops me because my parking lights were on but not my headlights (turned my headlights one notch instead of two). I went to court because it was mandated, at first I was going to plead not guilty. I had photos where you can see the area is very well lit. Extremely well lit, I had a picture with headlights on and off in the same area and there was minuscule difference (I received an Unsafe Driving ticket rather than a no headlight ticket, so I was going to argue that I was not driving in an unsafe manner). I ended up pleading guilty when I went in front of the judge because of how disrespectful and rude the prosecutor was.
When I went to the prosecutor to see if we could cut a deal (this was my first time in court ever) I had an eye opening experience. The prosecutor began saying stuff like, "Get out of here kid", "I'm gonna make sure this ticket is amended to one that gives points and the maximum fine possible", "Next time you come back to court, make sure you have a wad of cash with you", "You're wasting the court's time coming in to fight this" (1. Court was mandated, 2. Im paying court fees, how can he possibly say this). The worst part was when he was getting me to sign his form, he didn't even let me finish signing, he said "That's good enough" and ripped it from my hand. The prosecutor wouldn't listen to a word I said or look at my photos, and because of how disrespectful he was I was scared and plead guilty.
Are prosecutors allowed to do stuff like this? Is there some place I can report how rude and disrespectful he was? Also I had barely said anything to him, I wasn't rude or anything. The way he acted and everything he said was completely uncalled for and just unprofessional. I was also the second person he saw that day since the courts just opened.
