Applying for Unemployment: Are You Eligible for Unemployment if You Work Overseas for a U.S. Company

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Washington or Florida

I work as an employee for a US based company (Florida) who has a contract with the Department of Defense. I have lived and worked on a military base in Afghanistan for the past 10 months. Today, I was notified that I was being laid off due to a reduction in force.

Prior to deploying to Afghanistan, I was a student for 1 quarter in Washington State. My wife has lived and worked in Washington State for the past year and a half, but I have never earned wages there. The last wages I earned were in Oregon in 2015.

My questions are:
-Do I qualify to receive unemployment benefits?
-If so, which state should I file in? I filed in Washington State today, but I'm assuming I will be denied. I'm not sure if it makes sense to apply in Oregon or Florida?

Thank you for your help.
Steve
