Slander: Can I Sue the Police

My question involves defamation in the state of: utah . Ok here's my question I have been pretty much singled out since I moved to my current town me and my friends and family have been pulled over and my house accused of being a drug house when nobody has ever had drugs on them and not one time have the cops ever found drugs at my house that's Just the start I've had the police tow and impound my blazer from my front yard without any citation or ordinance violation just simply one day showed up with a wrecker and told me they were impounding it because it was abandoned on the street when it was in my front yard roughly 20 feet from the street and never was on the street in the first place and now I've been having issues with my bank regarding my home loan and was just told by my bank the reason they have been giving me issues was because the local police went to them and said that I was neglecting my grandfather who lived with me and that he was severely neglected and both those things for one are total lies and second none of anyone's business to be spred basically I'm wondering if I have grounds to use the police for harrasment slander or civil rights violations and if I should talk to a lawyer
