My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Florida
the water utility company refuses to refund a large deposit I made 2 years ago even though my bills have been paid in a timely manner every month. I've never been late and my credit score is in the high 700's. They say they won't refund it till I move. I don't plan on moving till I'm dead, I'm 69, and then they won't refund it either. What recourse do I have, I believe the deposit was about 200.00. I will look for the receipt.
