Sex Offenses: Can Consent for Sex be Denied After the Fact

Even if a lady decides to consent, according to her own testimony, does what she says about the encounter after the fact trump what she says before/during the encounter matter?

I hope yes, because if a lady is abused during the encounter she should have the right to decide it is not consensual after the fact.
