Military Justice: Adultery by a Servicemember

Here's the story , I'm an active duty officer and my wife is active Duty Officer both Army.

I caught her engaging in sexual acts while deployed with a contractor.

This has Been a very stressful situation but due to the nature of my job any family or mental issues must be reported to my commander because of the equipment I use and the liability of endangering my instructors or fellow soldiers. Wont get into go too much into detail about my Job but I operate planes thousands of feet in the air.

Ultimately this was reported to my commander along with evidence such as recorded verbal admissions of cheating, and text messages That pertained to sexual conduct with a military contractor that was also deployed with my wife.

Allegedly the third part (contract) claims my wife lied to her about being married, not sure how credible this is but the investigation is just starting to take place.

shes a commander of her own company and personally I think this misconduct makes her unfit to be a leader not only is this morally wrong but deceitful and in violation of military codes of conduct.

A divorce is inevitable at this point but what is the likely outcome of the situation? This question is for anyone who's heard of or experienced similar cases.

What's the likelihood of her being demoted or discharged out the military? Or would this be just a slap in the wrist?
