Traffic Lane Violations: Blocking a Crosswalk Ticket After Being Unable to Proceed Through the Intersection

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Florida

I went to pick up a sibling from my school the other day and the traffic was really bad for it being a school zone and a one lane to turn into the school the crosswalk was blocked so me and the car in front of me waited at the light for three lights to make the left turn into the school. Finally there was enough space just enough for me and the car infront of me to make it into the turning lane to get to the car loop but a driver coming from the opposite direction did not stop at the redlight to make a right turn into my lane. So he cuts off the car infront of me and now I am stuck in the crosswalk because he did not wait before turning into my lane and when I went to turn around the person infront of me the other lane was occupied by other vehicles and I really could not move. I finally get the chance to move when the other lane was empty and I coheres my was into the turning lane where later two motorcycle cops signaled me to pull over. I asked why I was being pulled over and he said that I was blocking the crosswalk I explained and he wrote the ticket anyways when he didn't even see my car until I got in the lane. Another cop radioed that I was blocking the crosswalk when I was stuck. I know I should fight this ticket but and it seems to be defective tell me what I did wrong?
