I am interested in learning if my 7 year old daughter has any visitation rights with her 13 year old half-brother? Their father passed away in March and prior to his passing, he had primary custody of his son living with us in GA since July 2013. After his passing, my stepson was forced to move back with his mother in PA. My daughter and stepson have a strong bond and while I am currently able to communicate with him using social media, text message, and programs like FaceTime, I'm not sure how long that will continue. In addition, I'd rather secure some actual time with him in person so they can continue to foster their relationship. His mother and I have a cordial relationship but we are not friends. At this point I am just looking at options in being able to sustain a relationship for my daughter with her brother.
Any insight or information would be greatly appreciated.
