Case Scheduling: Do We Have to Appear at Court on Hearing Date

My question involves small claims court in the state of: Texas
Travis County Justice and Peace court.
We are the plaintiff. The hearing date is scheduled.
But we may be not able to appear at the court.
Per my knowledge, some civil court could accept phone hearing.
Does phone hearing work for small claim?
