My question involves a relationship in the state of: California
Early 2014 my ex and I broke up, and he moved out of MY house that I OWN and is only in MY NAME. he now lives out of state. When we first broke up he commented on how he would like to keep my address on his drivers license and my parents address for his car loan/registration address (we temporarily lived at my parents when he purchased his car). I told him he had 3 months to fix all forwarding mail and things like car insurance, drivers license, registration. That he did not get to use my home for insurance discounts.
A year later I still get random mail for him at my house that must slip through whatever forwarding he put into place at the post office. And a year later my parents are still getting sent his car registration renewal papers in their mail, as well as traffic light tickets he received.
We no longer speak. AT ALL. Things got very ugly. I know he wanted to keep using mine and my parents addresses because it was cheaper than having to get and insurances re-evaluated for living in a different state. When we last spoke he played dumb and said he had no clue why we still got his mail, esp why my parents still received all his dmv documents (which my mom mailed to him because she is not a monster). oh and his voting junk mail.
So my question - how can I check to see if he is still using my address on his Drivers License? And is it possible to check if he still uses my parents for his dmv registration information? And if so, how do I get it removed?
