My question involves real estate located in the State of: California. I bought a house and found out shortly later that the seller had moved the rear property line forward to put up a fence. He didn't want to deal or pay for involvement of original property line because of concrete footings, so he built a fence 2 feet short of line. My question is through the sell and buying of house does not the issue of property lines need to be resolved or verified? And isn't this taken care of by title company or other agencies to protect the buyer from getting false property? Thanks Mark.
