Auto Insurance: Affidavit from Other Person's Attorney

My question involves insurance law for the state of: Nevada

Hello guys I was in a accident in July and I thought the whole ordeal was over once I received my claim check. Police found me at fault for the accident and I paid my ticket for it. Since we both have the same insurance, the insurance investigator told me that due to the fact I was hit so hard I wouldn't be found completely at fault meaning the other driver wouldn't get as much money. Point of the matter now I received a letter in the mail from my insurance investigator telling me that the other guys attorney wanted me sign an affidavit. Okay I looked some stuff up and it's not in my best interest to sign it right? The insurance was in my dads name and I was driving the car. Since then I got my own insurance and I am 18. I work a part time job at a fast food place and go to school full time. I'm super worried I cannot expend any money to this guy. The guy wasn't even hurt at the accident he denied medical assistance and he now has an injury lawyer what can I do? If you need more info I'll provide I just want some advice.
