Unsafe Turning Movement

I was recently in a car accident and I fell asleep at the wheel and I hit 6 part cars with nobody inside I wasn't under the influence I was cleared at the scene and now they have mailed me a citation for unsafe turning movement I was not turning and I was going the correct direction on the road do I have a chance of fighting this or not I do not get how they are citing me for this when I was not even in a turning lane not even turning in fact
