My question involves criminal law for the state of: CAlifornia
OK. So here’s what happened. I hit a vehicle in California. I tried to get away from them but they got my plate number. And called the police. There were no injuries according to the officer that I talked to. I felt bad about doing it so I called the police on myself. The officer that responded said that they could not identify me and told me that there were no injuries to the car that I hit. It was just tap. And I did not have insurance for my vehicle. I am living out of the country. And I know that I cannot afford an attorney to go and represent me on my court date. Which is next Monday. I just really want someone to go and represent me and say that I admit guilty at all the charges. So I can just pay the fine and get it over with. But I am living out of the country and I don’t think I can afford and attorney. So I’m wondering if my passport and my Visa crossings will will be affected. I am living in Asia and only have to do visa crossings in Asia. Do I have to worry about a bench warrant or an arrest warrant affecting my passport?
