Non Custodial Parent in Default

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Oregon
I Was in Oregon, I'm in Arkansas moved for affordability. Non custodial still in Oregon

I'm sole custody of our common son who is 14 now
The father failed had no interest to see our common son last 11 years
He got behind in child support 7k now.

May 16, 2017 He filed petitioned to terminate child support, but asked for visitation to see our common son summers and spring

June 16, 2017 I responded with no. No, and no.

I stated my facts, and stated to let our common son who is 14, let him have that discretion of visitation and Skype sessions

I filed that July 22, 2017 that the non custodial is in default for not responding

Question is; He filed with the court, May 15, 2017 yet he didn't have me served till two weeks ago, when he seen my address from my response, he served me. Yet I started my response immediately and file the response and petitioned new stipulations
Yet now I served him and filed my response/petition his 30 days are up...
So I filed order of default and asked for the order in my favour be granted.

When this started in May ( I just happened to find out he filed with the court luckily through my past attorney who is not practicing that he seen the petition come across his computer, or I'd never of known )

So non custododial thought he would file n win with out finding me to serve me..... N I'd of lost
He made it look like I was hiding only because HE non custodial hasn't visited in 11 years...

I over nighted request to default order on non custodial parent. I'll call wed and see what judge does
